At TransForce, our drivers are the foundation of everything we do. Each month, we recognize drivers who consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety while supporting our customers across the country. We’re proud to highlight the following drivers as our February Drivers of the Month for their dedication and the positive impact they make on their teams every day.
Patti Thomas has been selected as the West Region Driver of the Month. Patti has been with TransForce since 2019, supporting our national client, UPS Mail Innovations.
One of Patti’s greatest strengths is her consistency and positive attitude. She shows up on time every day and brings an energy that lifts the people around her. As one of our customers shared, Patti has a way of lighting up any room she walks into, whether she’s having a good day or facing challenges of her own.
Earlier in February, Patti received some very difficult personal news. Even so, she took only one day away and returned the very next day ready to work. That week, she even came in on Friday to make up for the time she missed. Her resilience, commitment, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on both her TransForce team and the customer she supports.
Patti’s dedication and positive spirit make her a valued member of the TransForce family.
George King has been with TransForce GRB since April 2017 and has built a reputation for dedication, professionalism, and outstanding customer support.
From 2017 to 2023, George worked with our customer Wicker Services until the company closed. Since then, he has continued supporting Shepard Motor Lines, helping maintain that relationship even though their fleet includes older manual trucks that few drivers are able to operate. His willingness and ability to step in has been critical in maintaining service for this customer.
George is known for his excellent safety record, on-time deliveries, and the courteous, respectful way he interacts with both customers and coworkers. Even while maintaining a steady four- to five-day work week with Shepard, he is always willing to help when additional support is needed. If a flex driver is required, George is quick to step in and take an extra run.
Outside of work, George and his wife Emma are very active in their church community. George serves as a Deacon, and Emma, Rev. Dr. Emma King, is the minister of their church. As a side line, George is 82 years old and an inspiration that staying busy keeps you young. The Central Region proudly recognizes George King as being true professional in the industry, and his contribution to TransForce are invaluable.
Timothy Abrams has been with TransForce since May 2025 and has consistently stepped up to support any assignment needed.
Timothy has taken on a wide range of work with a great attitude, from throwing recycled tires at Liberty Tires to running trailers for Shepard Expo and supporting convention center logistics during the 2025 Dragon Con Convention in Atlanta over Labor Day week.
More recently, Timothy has been working with Tommy Benton, Logistics Manager at SupplyOne Atlanta, who shared that Timothy is one of the most professional drivers he has had the pleasure of working with over the years.
No matter the assignment, Timothy approaches every job with professionalism, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to safety. His willingness to jump in wherever he is needed makes him a valuable member of the TransForce team.
Robert Murray and Dennis Lear have been selected as the North Region Drivers of the Month. The two run a team route together for Howmet Aerospace, a very large and important customer for TransForce.
Both Robert and Dennis have been with TransForce since February 9, 2019, and throughout their time with the company they have consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.
As a team, Robert and Dennis are known for being dependable and consistently delivering on time while representing TransForce in a professional manner. Their customer regularly shares how much they appreciate the team’s safe and reliable daily and weekly deliveries.
Robert and Dennis’ dedication and performance make them valuable members of the TransForce team and excellent representatives of the service we strive to provide to our customers.
