May 2025 Drivers of the Month

At TransForce, we’re proud to recognize the drivers who go above and beyond every day — delivering excellence, keeping our roads safe, and representing our brand with integrity. Each month, we spotlight four standout professionals across our regions who truly lead by example. Here are your May 2025 Drivers of the Month:

West Region: Abimael Hernandez Curiales

The West Region is proud to announce Abimael as our Driver of the Month for May. Since joining Transforce in September 2022, Abimael has consistently showcased an exceptional commitment to safety and professionalism. His kind, courteous, and gracious demeanor not only elevates the work environment but also underscores his value as a key member of our team.

The ADP Express safety team acknowledges, "Abimael is consistent with his inspections and reports issues immediately," further highlighting his dedication to excellence.

Central Region: Christopher Farrell

Chris has been with TransForce since April 2019 and has consistently gone above and beyond at UPS Mail Innovations in Butner, NC. He’s known for his safety record, reliability, and excellent communication with both our team and the customer.

In addition to running his daily route, Chris creates the driver schedule and collaborates with UPSMI supervisors to manage volume and route changes. When unexpected night runs were added last month, Chris stepped up without hesitation- splitting his time between day and night shifts to ensure full coverage.

His leadership, flexibility, and dedication make him a standout driver and a true asset to the Raleigh branch and the TransForce team.

South Region: Damon Sanders

Damon was with TransForce since July 2011, prior to our use of Erecruit. After a brief departure, he returned in September 2019 and has consistently proven to be an outstanding representative of our team.

He began his journey with us by supporting Penske Bright Transportation in 2011, followed by Penske Cardinal Healthcare in 2012. Over the years, Damon has completed 48 placements with 23 different clients — a testament to his reliability and versatility.

Each time Damon has returned to work with us, he’s been our go-to driver. Most recently, from 2021 to 2024, he supported Penske Starbucks with great success. When that assignment concluded, he stepped in at SP Richards to help test a new dock/driver hybrid role, which ultimately became a permanent position thanks to his performance.

Currently, Damon is doing excellent work at Lindenmeyr Munroe. His consistently positive attitude and strong customer service skills make him an exceptional candidate for Driver of the Month.

North Region: Robert McRae

Robert has been a standout addition to the TransForce team since his hire in March 2024. From day one, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.

Robert is always on time, maintains clear and courteous communication, and represents the TransForce brand with integrity and kindness. His attention to detail and calm, dependable presence make him a trusted partner for both our team and the clients he supports.

We’re proud to share that Robert has had zero accidents, incidents, or violations during his time with us — a reflection of his dedication to safe driving and best practices on the road.

For his excellent performance and positive attitude, we’re proud to recognize Robert McRae as our Driver of the Month.
