Recognizing Drivers Who Go the Extra Mile – January 2026

January Driver of the Month

Each month, we’re proud to recognize drivers who go above and beyond in their roles and consistently represent TransForce with professionalism, reliability, and dedication. Our Driver of the Month program highlights individuals who demonstrate strong work ethic, safety, teamwork, and a commitment to supporting both their customers and fellow drivers. We’re excited to recognize the following drivers for January.

West Region: Nhia Xiong

Nhia Xiong has been selected as the West Region Driver of the Month. Nhia has been with TransForce since 2016 at a dedicated client and has been a valued part of the team for nearly a decade. For the majority of those 10 years, Nhia has served as a team lead for the night crew, consistently demonstrating leadership and dependability.

Our client shared the following about Nhia: “Nhia goes above and beyond his job duties. He is always there ready and willing to install new equipment on our trucks, including Samsara devices and new catwalks. His mechanical knowledge is very appreciated by both Susie and myself. He also does an excellent job training new drivers.”

They summed it up best: “I wish we had 10 just like him.” Nhia’s willingness to step in wherever needed and support the team makes him an invaluable member of the operation.

Central Region: Christopher Martin

Christopher Martin has been with TransForce since 2017 and has been assigned to our customer MS Logistics, LLC for the entirety of his time with the company. Over the past nine years, Chris has taken on a wide range of responsibilities, including covering the yard truck, handling specialized oversized flatbed loads, and supporting the team wherever needed.

Throughout his time with MS Logistics, Chris has maintained a positive attitude, remained customer-focused, and consistently kept safety at the forefront of his day-to-day work.

His direct supervisor at MS Logistics, Lead Dispatcher David Kessler, shared that “his hard work and dedication has made a tremendous impact on our team.” Chris’s reliability and strong work ethic make him a valued member of both the TransForce and MS Logistics teams.

South Region: Bilal Ali

Bilal Ali is being recognized for his outstanding dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence since joining TransForce in January 2024. From the very beginning of his onboarding process, Bilal distinguished himself with a positive attitude and engaging personality that immediately made a strong impression on those around him.

Since joining the team, Bilal has remained on the same account and has become one of the customer’s most trusted and dependable team members. His peers regularly turn to him for support, confident in his ability to provide accurate information and thoughtful guidance. Even without a formal leadership title, Bilal’s approach naturally helps create a stronger, more cohesive work environment.

Bilal also plays an important role in maintaining strong communication, frequently bringing forward questions or concerns from coworkers so they can be addressed quickly. This proactive approach helps keep everyone aligned and minimizes additional workloads for both TransForce and the customer.

Bilal has proudly shared that he intends to “retire from here—you’ll have to kick me off the schedule,” and the customer echoes that same enthusiasm toward him. His dedication and pride in his work reflect the values that define TransForce.

North Region: Torrey Hedgebeth

Torrey Hedgebeth, from our Richmond Branch, has been working with the same company through TransForce since 2022 and has proven to be one of the most reliable members of the team. Over that time, Torrey has built a reputation for consistency, professionalism, and a strong willingness to help wherever needed.

During a recent customer visit, the opportunity to see Torrey’s work in action highlighted just how versatile he is. Torrey supports the operation in many ways, assisting with clerical work, operating forklifts, and even filling in for drivers when needed. His flexibility and commitment help keep the operation running smoothly.

Torrey has never called out and continues to be one of the customer’s most dependable employees. With no accidents or injuries to date and a positive attitude that makes him a pleasure to work with, Torrey truly embodies the reliability and professionalism we value at TransForce.
